As a Staff Engineer, I work under the direction of various Project Managers and other senior staff to conduct routine data collection, synthesis, and analysis (e.g. site drainage, earthwork, pipe sizing, pump selection, GAC change outs). I assist in identifying technical issues and approaches for evaluation, review regulations as appropriate, conduct site reconnaissance and perform other routine data collection activities while using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, analytical and statistical methods and software related to my discipline. As a Project Manager for the Testing and Diagnostics Group, I conducted field inspections and sampling for Asbestos, Lead, Radon, and Heavy Metals. I prepared Indoor Air Quality and Industrial Hygiene proactive and reactive documentation including construction activities and volatile organic compound worker exposure for large scale commercial properties and manufacturing warehouses. My primary roles and responsibilities included analyzing Indoor Air Quality laboratory documents to determine impacts of indoor environments to OSHA Health and Safety regulations, ensuring proper documentation for environmental compliance and environmental permitting, approving field monitor and incident reports, legionella risk assessment surveys, and environmental planning and permitting. Lead Data Analyst

In my previous position as a Lead Data Analyst for the Estimation of Methane Emissions from the California Natural Gas System, I used data analysis and statistical methods to create emission factors for fugitive methane emissions from the natural gas industry in California. My research included determining the probability likelihood of a random fugitive methane leakage and comparing our results with currently accepted CAPCOA and EPA/GRI emission factors for statistical anomalies and trends. My roles and responsibilities as an Engineer Intern with Tacoma Public Utilities were to conduct a renovation design of a half-street water pipe distribution system for water resource management of potable and non-potable water sources including design calculations, cost estimates, scheduling, design plan reviews (SEPA and WSDOT compliance), and NPDES permitting.
