  I am working in the Sociology Department, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Lampung University and teach several courses: Rural Sociology, Environmental Sociology, Classical Sociology Theory, and Introduction to Anthropology. My courses strongly relate with my research area on agrarian and rural change, particularly related to labour process, social organization and environment, and migration. Specifically, I facilitating student to learning political economy approach in agrarian study, state-community relations and environment within the Rural Sociology course. This is in line with my task to teach the thoughts of Karl Marx in Classical Sociology Theory. I also teach about fieldwork and ethnography, key concepts, and the history of Anthropology within the Introduction of Anthropology course. Show less

  My affiliation with Lembaga Bantuan Hukum (LBH) Bandung was initiated by joint research between Law Faculty of Universitas Padjadjaran and LBH Bandung to conducting research on West Java migrants workers and human trafficking. I involved as a researcher and co-facilitator with Bambang T Dahana from Lembaga Informasi Perburuhan Sedane to organize research and writing workshop within the LBH Bandung team member. A monograph based on this research have published under the title "Before the Airplane Take-off: Migrant Labor Infrastructure of Migration in West Java" in 2019. Having finished the project, in 2020 we initiate a survey related to the impact of pandemic Covid-19 on food access, livelihood, and family health. On the same year I also involved in LBH Bandung and Asian Justice and Rights project titled "Social and Resiliency Assessment on Timor Leste Stolen Children in West Java" as a research consultant.
