      ● Partnered with Thriving Pink, a non-profit focused on helping those impacted by breast cancer to thrive, and a diverse 5-person student team to develop recommendations to enhance multi-cultural recruitment and program engagement. Conducted Spanish and English interviews with program participants, synthesized insights into persona and journey map prototypes, and provided weekly progress updates to the client. ● Spearheaded a 3-person interdisciplinary student team in partnership with UC Berkeley's University Health Services to implement the Total Worker Health framework aimed at enhancing the well-being of over 700 custodial workers. As the client liaison, researcher, and project manager, I led the team through secondary research and conducted interviews in both English and Spanish during a site visit to conduct a comprehensive needs assessment. My findings revealed hazardous working conditions, worker maltreatment, and exploitation, which I used to develop personas, empathy maps, and stakeholder mapping to advocate for connecting workers with legal experts and implementing systemic changes. ● Led an interdisciplinary student team of 5 in conducting a needs assessment and providing recommendations for Berkeley's PATH to Care Center to address resource gaps in the support system for survivors of sexual violence, while acting as the client liaison, researcher, and project manager. ● Created interview guides and utilized personas, affinity maps, and final project presentations to synthesize interview findings and propose potential areas of innovation for youth mental health to HopeLab, a social innovation lab focused on youth mental health and technology. ● Utilized design thinking approaches to center the needs of under-served populations and advance health equity in public health solutions, based on deep research and analysis of social determinants of health to identify key factors contributing to health inequalities and propose practical solutions.
