Bio
Kevin Koernig, AIA, LEED AP
I met Fred back in 1999 when we were both working on the Wellington Webb Municipal Office Building for the City and County of Denver. We were both employed by RNL Design. During that time we worked together to manage a team of some 30 architects and engineers in a fast paced $132 million Design Build project. Over the course of time Fred moved on, but we maintained a friendship that endures to this day. For a period of time Fred worked with me when I ran Lawrence Group Architects in Denver. We designed a $75 million Senior Living Project made out of 480 recycled shipping containers in California. Of all the years I have known Fred he is a very knowledgeable architect that knows how to get things done. He speaks both fluent contractor and architect at the same time, a valuable skill in a profession where communication matters. He has strong leadership skills and keeps his clients informed about the complexities that are part of all construction projects.
