As a result attained the qualifications within the apprenticeship scheme as well as gaining valuable experience throughout my daily duties. In addition to this role I also have managerial experience of running the shop floor in terms of staffing levels, customer service, staff rota and ensuring that service quality is high. I greatly developed my skills further through understanding the needs of the customer and fulfilling them. Attaining good communication skills as well as attaining our high level of customer service. Dealing with various situations from complaints to closing complex situations in order to fully satisfy the customer needs.

Working within the stock management sector allowed me to explore how we manage stock efficiently and also effectively. Providing and managing stock levels for each department through us of the various systems. Monitoring inefficiencies and being able to solve them for the stock to be accurately processed and interpreted. Also experience dealing with customers at the collection point and providing a high quality of service and ensuring we adhere to the time constraints. Again, the need for teamwork was apparent as I had experience of working in the docking area operating machinery and keeping track of deliveries.
