  I completed the United Nations Periodic Review on the state of human rights in South Africa, on behalf of The Justice Desk. A project that involved extensive research and interviews. I made persuasive and obtainable recommendations in this paper to the South African government, which if followed would make substantial changes to the human rights situation in the country. Successfully delivered two speeches to the UN, one on children’s disability rights and education, and another on the effects of Climate Change and human rights. Project coordination for schools across Africa. Specifically focused on increasing awareness and educating organisations on gender-based violence, children’s rights, and access to education for vulnerable groups. I Developed my interview skills including liaising with community leaders and dealing with people with complex needs including disabilities and victims of trauma. Show less
