While we were living at 518 during the year 2013 we've had the pleasure of having Freddy as our superintendent. Three different companies have owned our building complex in the past three years and Freddy was employed by the previous owners. During that year, Freddy was always available toanswer any questions regarding the building or management, personally show up at the apartment if something needed emergency fixing, and most importantly, he was handy, personable, and extremely trustworthy. The first time I met Freddy was when there was alarge leak coming from our heating vent. From my seven years of renting experience, I expected a super to come and shut off my heating and call in someone to come and take a look at it. Freddy happily surprised me by bringing tools with him, actually fixing the problem then and there, and showing knowledge by explaining the situation to me. Numerous times my husband and I entrusted our apartment keys to Freddy while we were away and, if someone was watching the apartment for us, we could always depend on him to be available to hand off our keys or help if there was ever any issues. Throughout the year we recognized that Freddy’s greatest strengths are communication and knowledge of his work. Freddy is a rare superintendent that is personal, friendly, trustworthy, and responsible. He takes his job seriously and is able to fix most problems that occur; even if he is unable to remedy a situation he knows the proper people to contact and will work with the tenants’ schedule. Because of all these traits, Freddy gets our vote of confidence as a superintendent and is by far one of the best at his job. And we feel confident in making that claim because of our own .
