  Beginning in the Vancouver warehouse, I moved from receiving to the sales counter, branch order service, local purchasing, inside sales (mines & mills), outside sales. In 1981 I became the project quotations specialist for the BC interior branches working from Kamloops. In the recession following 1988, I handled inside sales, and purchasing for the Kamloops branch as well. Moving back to Vancouver in 1988, I was insides sales, inventory manager for the industrial automation group until 1993. During this time Gough Electric was purchased by Guillevin International.
