I had the pleasure of working with Fred while acting as the contractor team lead for a government client. In this role, we were responsible for conducting network and application penetration tests for the various agencies that fell under the client's umbrella. What impresses me the most about Fred is his ability to think "outside the box". On certain engagements, we hit a wall when trying to exploit a client's information systems. Where 99% of penetration testers would call it a day and claim everything was "secure", Fred would, without fail, come up with an ingenious way to break through and ultimately compromise our target. Additionally, his *nix command line skills are unmatched. He can query and organize data from a shell better than anyone I know. Despite his amazing technical skillset, Fred has no ego (a rarity in this field)! He willingly shares anything he knows and wants everyone to get better. Without reservation, I recommend Fred for any offensive or defensive security work. He is truly an asset!
