      -Establish minimum action necessary to release part to the floor for processing. -Check all materials received for processing to verify the engineering drawing, approved OEM. -March purchase order requirements to process traveler including but not limited to: -Determine if FAA or Certificate of Conformance -Verify customer name, location and purchase order number -Part, job and serial number -SPM, EM, section and repair or applicable customer specifications including all revisions levels/dates -Coating specifications -Locate P/N, S/N and/or other markings on part and verify to process traveler and tags (if applicable). -If required, verify set-up sheet and hand tooling for proper fit/function. -Identify repair area(s) and inspect as necessary including pre-coat measurements and cut off dimensions. -Determine proper deposits for abradable, metallic and ceramic powder coating. -Use of Mitutoyo (SJ-201/SJ-210/SJ-410) Profilometer and performance of visual comparator in replacement if profilometer is unavailable. -Review the customer purchase order, drawing and/or applicable specifications for surface finish requirements, stylus type, traversing and cut-off length. -Analysis of quality data associated with nonconforming material and determining corrective actions. -Perform root cause reviews, review proposed re-work and establish preventative measures. -Maintain Corrective Action Database. -Confirm inspection package is complete. For contracted work, reviewing certifications and inspections of part dimensionally and visually for compliance. -100% complete visual inspection of hardware. Show less
