I've created a long list of arrangements and orchestrations for numerous symphonic Pops orchestras and many Broadway stars; barely two weeks go by without some major orchestra playing one of my arrangements. Originating orchestras include the National Symphony, the New York Pops, the Boston Pops, the Indianapolis Symphony, the Houston Symphony, and the Oklahoma City Philharmonic. Numerous other orchestras across the U.S. and Canada play the arrangements as the artists tour. Artists include Megan Hilty, Jason Alexander, Sandi Patty, Maureen McGovern, Florence Henderson, Beth Leavel, Renée Fleming, Michael Cavanaugh, and many more. For my "American Showstoppers" concerts with the Fred Barton Orchestra, I've orchestrated and conducted nearly two hundred new arrangements of songs from the Golden Age of Broadway, performed by Karen Ziemba, Lee Roy Reams, Vivian Reed, Joshua Henry, Ryan Silverman, Brent Barrett, and many dozens of Broadway's best performers. Still on TV are the programs I scored, orchestrated, and/or supervised: "The Magic Schoolbus," "Wonder Pets!," "Olivia," HBO's "Cathouse: The Musical," and HBO Documentary's "Fifty Children."

ONE FOR MY BABY is a new Broadway-bound book musical featuring the songs of Harold Arlen. With a book by Scott Thompson and Fred Barton, the show had a major pre-Broadway workshop production in October, 2012, with Fred's arrangements and musical direction; a presentation of excerpts is already sold out at 54 Below on April 30. Offers for full production have come from London and major regional theaters in the US, and two lead producers have just signed on to fast-track the show to Broadway. A new cousin of "Forbidden Broadway" opened July 19, 2016, in the form of a full parody of a little show no one would otherwise hear about ("Hamilton.") We closed in NYC after well over 500 performances, and our Chicago company played 8 months, and our Los Angeles company played a limited-but-extended run in November-January.
