      I initially began my role with ENGIE with direct sales, here my role consisted of prospecting business energy uses to identify their needs and main drivers to maximise potential for sales and margin. By working closely with customers throughout their customer journey, I maximised customer satisfaction by proactively identifying potential issues, keeping regular contact and providing an honest service. After several months, I worked with small offices to large construction firms installing new connections that required a deep understanding industry regulations and processes with the meter and network operator; this has helped me develop an in-depth and consultative knowledge of the energy industry.After gaining industry experience, I then moved over to indirect sales where I deal with both brokers and consultants. My roles include:• Produce achievable targets for sales margin, volume and site numbers • Working closely with brokers to negotiate gas and electric contracts to maximise sales• Identify potential opportunities by building relationships with brokers and consultants• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts ensuring accurate data is used to stream-line the onboarding process and minimise potential issues, increase both customer and broker satisfaction Having worked in ENGIE for a little over 18 months, I have excellent internal relationships allowing a quick turnaround for quotations, consumption data, query resolution, meter issues, new connections and general questions.
