Directly working with other students and engineers to design, build, and program a robot to complete a specific task - Used Solidworks to design and plan a 150-pound robot, as well as lead the team in manufacturing and assembling components - Used several power tools and machines such as lathes, mills, CNC routers, and plasma cutters to manufacture the parts used to assemble the robot - Ranked within the top 25 out of 150+ Ontario teams, where we ranked in the top 5% out of 9000 teams worldwide, and were invited to compete at the world championship in Detroit each year we competed - Active member of team’s pit crew and assisted in making sure the robot was prepared for each match - Received rookie of the year in my first year on the team amongst 20 other rookies Show less
