I met Frank for the first time when he joined CEJA, the European Council of Young Farmers. He specialised on communication and project management although working in a small team also required a great deal of flexibility, switching from one task to another – something Frank really excelled at. While Frank did not have any previous experience from the field of agriculture and food industry, he instantly lived up to our expectations. That is a testament to his positive and ambitious mind-set that allowed him to become a full member of the team very quickly. As the Secretary General of CEJA, I worked with Frank on a daily basis. He was a true team-builder and always happy to step in whenever necessary. I could always rely on him and his expertise. His can-do attitude was a great asset to CEJA. Frank was particularly good at communications and social media. He helped CEJA run campaigns, develop a new website and newsletter that he built with our designers from scratch. Frank showed a great deal of insight into the EU politics, something that came very handy when writing the numerous newsletter articles and press releases. His analyses were greatly appreciated. Having witnessed Frank’s development over the years I am convinced that through his experience and attitude, he would bring added value to any team he would choose to work for.

As a trained psychologist and with experience from both private and public sector, I consider Frank to be one of the most analytically gifted co-workers I have come across. I worked with Frank in one team at the Committee of the Regions in Brussels, influencing EU policy-making on behalf of the EU regions. Frank was hired as a policy adviser, specialising on EU funds and budget. He helped me organise numerous internal and external meetings and conferences. His readiness to rise to the challenge, pragmatic problem-solving attitude and creativity were a great asset to the team. I felt I could always rely on his availability and his expertise in politics, public affairs and communications, which came handy on a daily basis. Furthermore, and something that I came to appreciate a lot, Frank’s sense of humour was a welcomed addition especially during stressful periods. I’ve seen Frank go above and beyond the necessary and I’m sure he will be a fantastic asset to the next organization or company he will join.
