Having worked with Frankie for a few years she has always been a great colleague to work with. We have created content together and also she has schooled me in the art of Social Selling which has been a tremendous success. Wherever she works will be a brighter place with ideas on how to develop your Marketing and PR.

Frankie is a delight to work with. She's passionate, professional, inventive and full of great ideas that benefit the people she works with. She keeps track of her to do's and goals, and is relentless in following up. She lives by the motto: if it's worth doing, it's worth doing well. But what I appreciate the most: she's great at understanding what you want, and comes up with results that are even better than expected.

Responsibilities included: press relations; copywriting including SEO for the TIG website; social media management and monitoring; content editing; internal communications including via the TIG Portal and email distribution; and collaborating closely with the marketing team at our partner brand to manage a range of events. During my time working here, I completed the CIPR Certificate in Internal Communication. My ‘people-person’ and charitable nature, my inter-cultural competence and my experience of developing the internal communication function in this role are what inspired me to embark on this course, which I simply loved! Oct 2018 - Dec 2019
Following a team restructure, I was promoted into this newly created role. This was a welcome challenge which offered me the chance to prove my ability to use my initiative, and to independently plan, create, execute and report on communication campaigns that support the brands’ core values, and tie in with marketing activity and commercial objectives. I had sole responsibility for managing the PR for four of Hotelplan UK’s brands, which also involved: crisis management communications; managing the PR budgets for all brands; developing an influencer marketing strategy; agency management; partnerships with third-party companies; ongoing relationship management with key media and internal / external stakeholders. I’m a proactive achiever and this is partly due to my organised approach to work and excellent attention to detail, be that in my thorough administration skills, my event and press trip planning or when researching and compiling accurate and relevant content for press releases. Achievements included: leading a promotional film shoot for Inghams’ Lakes & Mountains programme; establishing reporting systems to ensure PR activity is shared internally with stakeholders; organising media events and press trips from start to finish; being nominated by my colleagues and Manager to win a ‘Mountain Spirit’ award. A job I thoroughly enjoyed and in which I learnt a huge amount. Responsibilities included: writing press releases, official reports, and engaging content for websites and newsletters; managing various social media channels; researching and collating relevant information and pitching it to journalists; responding to media requests in a timely and informative manner; managing my time efficiently; organising press trips; identifying suitable opportunities and pitching them to clients; representing clients at corporate, consumer and media events; planning and successfully implementing promotional campaigns. I’m very capable of maintaining high standards when managing multiple tasks simultaneously against tight deadlines, and my experience at PR agency McCluskey International really developed my time management skills as I learnt the importance of being able to flex and respond efficiently when clients’ priorities evolved. I also have a proven ability to remain calm under pressure, (having had first-hand experience of managing crises both in my PR and overseas roles). Show less

I gained valuable PR experience within the travel industry, whilst maximising the use of my Spanish language skills on a professional level. Throughout my career, I've been consistently relied upon by my colleagues to write and edit high-quality, compelling content and adapt this for different audiences and across various channels, including social media platforms. I’m also proud of my stakeholder relationships and have received excellent feedback, which has been of great encouragement to me. I’ve been continuously praised for being able to influence and persuade key stakeholders in a diplomatic nature, through using research and reporting to rationalise arguments and bring credibility. Resort Manager and Recruitment Executive
-
Nov 2013 - Oct 2015
A huge challenge which I am very proud to have overcome with flying colours, especially as I was the company's youngest Resort Manager in Austria, having been promoted within my first year of working for the company. I gained sound knowledge of and confidence in successfully managing a team: by encouraging and rewarding hard work and offering support, I kept team members happy so as to increase productivity and improve results. By the end of the winter season, the chalet I managed was listed as no.2 in the company based on customer satisfaction, Rep’s final guest feedback scores reached 92% excellent and all sales targets were exceeded: we more than doubled 'aprés' sales figures from the previous year. Other duties included: event management, conducting Welcome Meetings for up to 70 holidaymakers at a time and solving guest issues to enhance customer satisfaction. Following this placement, I was offered a bigger resort because it needed ‘turning around’. Recruitment Executive: I was personally invited to work in the UK Head Office and duties included conducting group interviews and selecting overseas staff for the coming winter season, and promoting the company through delivering presentations and at job fairs. During my first season as a rep, I impressed my managers by achieving excellent and consistent ‘JPA scores’ of 80/100 and by quickly becoming the top seller in our resort (based on all excursion and ad-hoc sales). This experience tested my stamina, as daily temperatures often reached over 40oC, the hours were long (during my busiest week I worked 93 hours) and I was personally responsible for over 200 arrivals / week. I taught classes of children (aged between 8 and 13) and adults of all abilities. I invented creative materials and used effective methods to best prepare students for their end of term exams. I marked exercises to identify and then assist those who needed a little extra guidance and encouraged good behaviour by praising hard work. Personally, I further developed my verbal and written communication in Spanish, improved my self-confidence in presenting in another language and learnt the value of discipline, patience and praise, which led me to become a competent team Manager later in my career.
