I was working as Overseas Technical Supporter at CNNIC, I have been transferred from International Department to System Operating Department at the end of last year. My main duty is to helping overseas registrars to solve their technical problem, as well as provide my best services to give them guide on connecting with our servers. I am using ROSS and BOSS system (CNNIC self developed operation system) to keep registrars connecting with us smoothly, and I will also using all kinds of software to looking for data and connection issue for registrars. Even I am not from a technical education background, I still found this job very interesting and I am gain lot of new skills from my daily works. Such as LINUX system, Oracle and Mysql database, JAVA lanugage and EPP1.0 protocol. CNNIC is a great platform to learn new things.

CNNIC is government owned organisation, It was report duty to The Chinese Academy of Sciences and MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology). Since the beginning of 2015, CNNIC is transferred to The State Internet Information Office, in which is one step close to the centre government and provide internet research report very year of China internet market and consumers' behaviour. CNNIC also provide high valuable opinions on China's internet safety issues. My duties for the last two and half years were to keep a good relationship with our existing registrars and expand overseas market by seeking and cooperating with potential registrars worldwide. Just before I transferred to system operating department within CNNIC, The overseas accredited registrars were just over thirty-five. These world leading registrars including: Neustar, Markmonitor, Key-systems, Core and CSC. I also responsible for organising promotion events during ICANN and sometimes INTA annual meetings. We were hosting the event during the meetings and invite our customers or potential registrars to attend. I organised five these kinds of promotion event in total and attract at least eight companies to become CNNIC’s registrars.

My main duty is to help Huanengda expand their business from domestic market to overseas, The company developed a new technology for coal fired power stations. This technology is able coal fired power stations to reduce coal consumption and carbon emission. I help Huanengda to expand their market to Australia and Veitnam. Just before I left the company, we start to build relationships with US Power companies, such as Duke Energy. My 12 years overseas studying and working background help me to communicate and negotiate with foreign companies. Because, the company's product also sale itself.
