NACCA is the national association of Aboriginal Financial Institutions (AFIs) and manages a series of programs and services which support AFIs in providing capital to Indigenous entrepreneurs.As Manager, Funds and Analytics I lead the implementation and operation of the Indigenous Growth Fund (IGF) which includes:Leading the development of the Indigenous Growth Fund (IGF) which includes:• Securing initial investments• Securing Contribution Funding to support development of the IGF• Drafting of Limited Partnership Agreement (LPA) and other key fund documents • Financial Modelling to support the attraction of initial investment, and ongoing operations• Developing various reporting frameworks• Managing the Investment Readiness Program which has supports the development of the IGF, and houses a grant program to support AFIs through investment readiness and IGF eligibility activities Alongside the Chief Strategy Officer, designed and implemented the Indigenous Business Stabilization Program to support Indigenous SMEs through the COVID-19 pandemic. • In consultation with NACCA’s network of Aboriginal Financial Institutions, developed and modelled support options to meet the unique needs of Indigenous business clients during the early months of the pandemic• Translated a $306M funding decision announced on April 18, 2020 as part of the Government of Canada’s COVID-19 Economic Response Plan, into an operational program which includes emergency loans, non-repayable contributions and temporary payment relief on existing loans• Developed agreements with AFIs and internal approval, control, reporting and payment processes• Approved agreements and payments Show less
