It has been a real pleasure to have Frank Fanning work as the Bighorn Golf Club Head Tennis Professional this year. Frank has done an outstanding job with creating a rapport with our members on and off the court. He is generous with his time and knowledge and has a lot of skills to share. Frank is an experienced tennis teacher but he is open, willing and eager to learn more. One of the things that every employer and supervisor wants is for a person who is willing to do tasks outside of their job description. Frank has contributed to the success of our tennis program in many ways that cannot be listed in the job description. There is an old saying "People do not care how much you know, until they know how much you care." Frank has communicated his care for the member experience, his care for doing the job in a professional manner, and his care and concern for continuing to grow and learn as a professional. I would recommend Frank for any job in the tennis industry that requires high tennis knowledge, an outstanding work ethic, and a great customer service attitude.

I have worked for Frank Fanning in various tennis related positions since 2007, most recently as his Assistant Director of Tennis at the Tarry Crest Swim and Tennis Club. Frank is an excellent manager, coach and mentor. He is always professional, has a strong work ethic, and truly cares about his staff and his players. He is dedicated to helping his staff, players and clients become the best they can be. During my time working for Frank, he has helped me develop as a player and a professional by sharing his extensive knowledge of tennis methodologies, presenting me with opportunities to improve my instruction technique, and allowing me to develop my organizational and communication skills through interaction with club management and members. He has an open and sincere leadership style that makes him very approachable, and he consistently offers good advice that has served me well both on and off the court. Frank has just the right balance of professional tennis athlete and business professional that makes him the type of manager that would be an asset to any club, and that any employee would be privileged to work for.
