  Over ten years as Chief of Design for Nokia, I led the build and headed up the global multi-disciplinary design organization. Nokia Design included UI/UX graphics and packaging, industrial design, mechanical engineering, colors and materials research and extensive prototype development. The Global Nokia Design team also included extensive market and other user and human factors research specialists. I also initiated the Nokia owned Vertu brand and product experience partially overlapping this term and extending a 16 year period. My total experience leading design for Nokia and Vertu extended more than 25 years of intense comprehensive global design development ranging from entry level to premium and high luxury product, brand and marketing prior to breaking out to create other products and brands and start Design Studio Nuovo.
