Frank worked as the Machinery Division Leading Chief Petty Officer on USS GEORGIA while I served as his Engineer Officer. Frank was a leader, a mentor, and a warrior. He is the kind of guy you want to have on your team. He motivated the troops when times got tough and he supported the chain of command through every difficult decision, but he never shied away from providing his opinion when he thought the ship was headed towards trouble. He brought his passion, experience, and leadership with him every day, and he always left the ship and everyone he served with in better shape than he found them. His personality and grit elevated the performance of the entire crew. The Navy needs more Frank McGuires, and he would make a great asset to any team!

I have had the privilege to work with Frank in multiple organizations. Frank is an outstanding leader. He understands managing cross-functional teams for short term success while developing long term innovation and improvement. I am personally grateful for Frank’s mentorship while working on his team as a project planner and assistant manager. Through his direction, we were able to overcome every obstacle to deliver an above standards product. He will undoubtedly bring zeal and accountability to any team he leads.
