Working with people way smarter than me to build a revolutionary CAD software platform. I'm building the frontend with NextJS. First full-time design hire, doing UX and brand work in Figma and lots of GitHub issues. Working with people way smarter than me to build a revolutionary CAD software platform. I serve our clients by working with our small team to create well-designed web experiences, and serve to communicate across design, infrastructure, and business stakeholders. The most recent addition to my role is to take a larger part in developing business strategy for our new clients during the discovery process, serving to take those early business models and find exactly what user experiences and web infrastructure are needed to build them.At neta we help young businesses find their core mission, crystalize that mission into an actionable plan, lay out that plan in achievable steps, and execute against it. Our whole team works together at every step of that process, and I represent the design and user interests in those discussions. Show less

    • UX Designer & Developer
      • Mar 2020 - Apr 2021

As UX Designer & Developer my role at netamorphosis has focused in on the design and development phase of our work. It is the most exciting step yet in my career: I got not one but two of my favorite words in my title! I now coordinate a larger share of the communication with developers and clients by creating functional specifications and user guides. My work on creating internal design process tools will continue to grow (I'll be writing about it too!), and is becoming a part of my role instead of the passion project it had been.I still try to act as translator and advocate across other teams that I was trained on in my previous role like SEO, and I am hoping to continue working on internal tools for their processes as well. • Digital Project Coordinator
      • Aug 2019 - Mar 2020

When I joined neta it was as a student of all disciplines in the business. I worked mainly on the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) / Content team and helped where I could across Design, Development, and Strategy.I found myself gravitating increasingly toward Design and Development, creating little tools I'd code up to automate some tedious part of the design process. This and other work led to my promotion to UX Designer & Developer in March of 2020.

I was a part of a two person team that manages content, design, and support for Iridium's three websites. I also was one of two graphic design resources on the Marketing team, and made dozens of marketing assets. I took all product photography for Iridium during my time there. My favorite thing I had the opportunity to work on was the official launch patch for our 8th Iridium NEXT rocket launch. When I was hired back after college my first project was to reorganize our secure document repository, where I got to design naming conventions and security schemas. That's probably the most useful thing I worked on, but I've gotta admit it was way less fun than a rocket patch. Show less
