Frank is one of the most thoughtful, conscientious, and skilled designers that I have worked with. His attention to detail is matched only by his commitment to serving client needs. I hope to have the opportunity to work with Frank again soon.

It is a privilege to provide this recommendation for Frank Giorlando, whom I worked alongside for a little over a year at Paul Lukez Architecture in Somerville, Massachusetts. This was a small office, and I was fortunate to have Frank as a close colleague in the office and also as an informal mentor. From my time with Frank, I knew him to be a highly knowledgeable architect with an expansive understanding of design, construction, and project management. In addition to Frank's impressive architectural knowledge, I believe his ability to work as part of a team is especially high, and he in a team environment I found him to be a highly effective and highly focused colleague. Nonetheless, I worked extremely well with Frank as his peer. At PLA Frank was also often tasked with managing interns and junior office staff, a task that involves not only the delegation of work but also a considerable amount of one-on-one teaching and assistance. Through a series of perhaps four interns, I observed Frank go far above and beyond his obligations to help these young professionals and students acclimate to the projects to which they were assigned, and succeed in the tasks they were given. This is perhaps a special gift of Frank's: as a mentor and a peer, he is inspiring, collegial, and generous person to work with and in my professional experience, I have found no better coworker. In sum, while Frank is experienced in the management of projects, he also has a rare gift for managing people that should be an invaluable asset to any office. Regarding the latter, I fully expect to find him teaching in an architectural school someday, having heard more than once "Frank, you have you ever thought of becoming a teacher" from an intern. I give Frank my highest recommendation and I am happy to provide additional comments or remarks regarding my time working alongside Frank.
