As an Energy Consultant, I once again find myself in a position where I have the opportunity to educate individuals on ways we can improve the quality of the resources we use in our everyday lives. Conservation, whether it be in regards to energy, water, wildlife, etc. is something that we can all get behind, but where do we start? That’s where I come in. For many people, they simply don’t know what is available to them. I have an opportunity to educate individuals about ways they can save money and improve the state of the planet in which we inhabit. And in this line of work, it’s simple. By taking advantage of programs incentivized by the state, you can switch from standard energy resources (energy created from burning non-renewable fossil fuels) to Solar or renewable energy at NO COST to you. It’s just a matter of learning what is out there. Think there’s a catch? Let’s chat.

    • Guest Service Manager - Animal Kingdom Operations
      • Feb 2014 - Sep 2014

I oversee more than 100 employees at three high-volume attractions at Disney's Animal Kingdom and lead them to demonstrate our 4 Key Basics to Guest Service - which are Safety, Courtesy, Show and Efficiency. I ensure that our operation is running at maximum occupancy while delivering world class Guest Service 7 days a week and 365 days a year.

    • Traditions Facilitator
      • Jan 2013 - Feb 2014

I was selected to the 50-person team from thousands of candidates. During the 1 year term, it was my honor to introduce our newest employees to the Walt Disney World Resort. Our Traditions Program is delivered to every single Cast Member on their first day of work and it was my role to teach them the values and expectations that every Cast Member is entrusted to uphold so that each individual, and our company, is set up for long term success.

    • Coordinator / Advanced Excursion Guide for the Wild Africa Trek
      • Sep 2010 - Feb 2014

I oversee a cast of 40 people and together, we deliver a premium experience that is comparable to any safari tour that you could find in Africa. It is an unbelievable 3 hour trek that brings our guests closer to African animals than you can possibly imagine, all while incorporating adventure and luxury in the middle of a 110-acre reserve. It is my responsibility to ensure that this wonderful experience is operating fluently on a daily basis. I orchestrate our team in making sure that each position is properly covered, each guest is met with courtesy and respect and my hope is that they leave knowing that they just witnessed something special and it can only be found at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

    • VIP Tour Guide
      • Jan 2009 - Sep 2011

I love being an ambassador for the greatest vacation destination on the planet. As a VIP tour guide for Disney's Special Activities, I am given the opportunity to show families/dignitaries/celebrities our parks and resorts in luxurious fashion. It is my responsibility to escort and entertain our guests without a lot of the hassles or struggles that normally come with a vacation to an extremely busy theme park. From the onset of the day, I will pick up my guests from their resort, take them directly to the park of their choice and together, we will visit our world-class attractions and shows with ease and convenience. I thoroughly enjoy showing my guests a side of Walt Disney World that they have never seen before. This is a truly special place and I am blessed to see it through the eyes of children and their families that are having the time of their lives.

    • Guest Relations
      • Jan 2006 - Oct 2010

As a Guest Relations host, it was my role to represent The Walt Disney Company with the highest of standards. It was important that I know the answer to every Guest question pertaining to the property, handle Guest Conflict Resolution, recognize when Guest Recovery was necessary and compensate accordingly. I was also responsible for knowing our ticketing plans and being able navigate through the complexities of ATS (Automated Ticketing System) easily so that we could sell tickets to our Guests based on their needs and intentions while spending their time here at the Walt Disney World Resort.
