      Frank de Vos (M.Sc. Chemistry University of Utrecht, Utrecht, The Netherlands) has been involved in water treatment related issues in and around power plants. As a consultant he has be mainly occupied with water corrosion related root cause analysis in the water steam cycle, the chemical treatment of the water steam cycle and the preparation of demin water. Next to these consulting actives Frank de Vos is also involve in the update of the KEMA Guidelines for chemical treatment of high pressure boiler turbine plants. In his early work he visited many sites, both power plants and industrial, all over the world to commission water related analytical equipment. Currently Frank de Vos is the Product Group Manager of the Process and Cooling Water group at KEMA in the Netherlands. He has authored/coauthored and presented several papers related to corrosion and chemistry in the water steam cycle and the recovery of water from flue gas at international conferences. Show less
