  This role covered four (4) years in Stuttgart, Germany as Project Manager with responsibility for management of NPI projects for Vehicle Security Systems for major German auto manufacturers. During this period I successfully project managed introduction of a new generation of DCUs (Door Control Units), with a focus on manufacturing coordination worth an approx. A$ 60m p.a. turnover. Additionally, I was responsible for Development and Launch of Series production of a new ECU for a German Premium Car manufacturer from kick off to SOP in 9 weeks (standard project time is 18 months), ramp up from 0 to 500k p.a. In Melbourne, Australia I was responsible for Project Managing the entire range of NPI projects for Automotive Security Systems. In this time I achieved a track record of delivering quality outcomes on time and within budget. I was also responsible for acquisition of business for a newly developed vehicle security platform with a German Premium Car manufacturer, approx. A$10m p.a. turnover. Toward the end of my employment I was responsible for successfully transferring a high volume electronics production line from Australia to Europe whilst maintaining consistent product delivery to European car manufacturers of 10k units per week.
