Frank Appleby is the standard bearer, and the hotelier that works with Frank will find him or herself at a significant advantage over the competition in their set. Frank has nearly a quarter of a century of experience in purchasing for one of the nation's most respected hotel brands, and it shows. The hotelier considering Frank for an executive position should know this: as a vendor, I trust him completely. This compels me to show him "my hand" during an RFP process, and I know that when I share very sensitive information - pricing, manufacturing secrets, etc. - that they will not be passed on to my competitors. Nor have I ever felt that I was simply being pitted against another vendor simply to drive down price. This considered, Frank elicits much more information from vendors, which allows the hotelier to make a more informed decision and get the best price.

My company has been a vendor/partner of Gaylord Entertainment for many years, which resulted in my working with Mr. Frank Appleby on several procurement projects, including supply logistics, inventory monitoring and contract negotiation. In my experience with Mr. Appleby, he has always been a consummate professional with excellent communication, leadership and team-building skills. For the reasons given above, I would highly recommend Frank Appleby. He would be a valuable asset to any employer given his tremendous skill-set. Timothy W.
