Björn Preutz
Jag jobbade med Francois i flera år (2006-2008) på Speed Services AB i samband med att vi tog fram nyutvecklade förvaringsboxar. Francois ansvarade för utveckling av programvaran och levererade alltid funktion på utsatt tid. Det var alltid trevligt att jobba tillsammans med Francois och han var en uppskattad teammedlem. Programvaran bestod av kommunikation med boxarna, kortbetalning, användargränssnitt och kommunikation med en server. Förvarinsboxarna är i drift och placerade på tågstationer som tex T-Centralen i Stockholm.
Alexandru-Valentin Pradais
I had the chance to work with Francois in my last position and while it was only for a couple of months I did see enough to conclude he really knows what he's doing and likes it at the same time. I think a big help in this sense is the fact that he is tirelessly hunting for knowledge and practical ideas that can be put to good use within the team, such as trying to keep the processes, both business and handling technical matters, lean. Some of the things I feel are also worth mentioning: - He helped the team deliver fast and efficiently and one way was by introducing and upholding the principle of letting the experts decide. - He was an effective liaison to the other departments, always working to either get matters clarified or to unblock processes, always doing this in the background. He was always working with the team and for the team but the team never 'felt' him there but rather reaped the benefits of his work. - He owned the process of onboarding up to the very finest details (going above and beyond for helping me not only become efficient but adapting to a new org, team and country culture). - Worked with the individual team members to create an improvement loop by setting up a system to run a team retrospective meeting in order to find out what the team is doing, how it's doing it, how they feel about doing it and also how they feel about the future which made everyone feel heard and happier for it.
