      I entered the FGT as a trainee in 2012. I was asked to rebuild a Design office to bring back this kind of skills, they lost few years ago. I created a materials data center, I helped the director to choose a digital cutting table. I also started to answered customer demands by designing packaging. I stayed as an apprentice and became the R&D / Design manager of FGT. The company is a SME, so I worked on a lot of different missions. It was interesting because I’m aware of the global operations of a company, from the basis to the strategical decision including quality, management, production, etc. The director was used to include me in the decision process made me grow faster as an engineer. My main missions were: 1- Lead the design office a. Create the design brief with customer b. Design solutions efficient for the customer and profitable for FGT c. Calculate the costs and create the price quotation d. Create the tools with the technical manager, negotiate with suppliers e. Check quality when production begins I learned how to be a product manager, how to negotiate this suppliers, how to be with customers, cardboard/plastic injection/printing transformation process 2- Production optimization project (last engineering project : 16.25/20 – Valedictorian) a. Redesign the flows by new organization of the machines and warehouse b. Redesign the working areas to save space and avoid accumulation of products c. Lean management & 5S policy -> Change management in a 50 Y.O. average team d. Investment advices e.
