Throughout my career, I've had several young people joining my teams for apprenticeships or starting a professional career. I have never met anyone like Francisco nor have I did ever since. Francisco is unusual in every way possible in a way you aspire your own Son to be. He is without a doubt the most bright, educated, polite, resilient, dedicated, forward-looking person I have ever had the pleasure to work or engage with. At that time, just starting his 20s, he outsmarted consultants with far more experience than him, he was able to engage with Senior stakeholders in a way that you wouldn't imagine possible at that age, and every single task was seen as the most important challenge: he would deliver far beyond any expectations, even to someone highly demanding as I am. I had the opportunity to offer Francisco a position (desired by many) not once but twice since his apprenticeship, and both times I was hoping he would say no - he fortunately did. Francisco is someone different, who can have a career as just very few may aspire to. I've engaged with all sorts of people, from clerks to Ministers, and I strongly believe Francisco has the potential to become a world leader. I'm looking forward to seeing that happening, which is to me not a matter of "if" - it will happen.
