  Responsible for Beyond the Bed’s (BtB) Product planning and execution all through the lifecycle of the business. The role is inclusive of defining the vision for the Product, collaborating with other leadership teams from the Engineering, Commercial, and Operations functions. BtB is Hotelbeds’ multi-million brand for sourcing and distributing Transfers, Activities, Tickets and Car Hire with a portfolio of over 20K products spanning over 700 destinations and +200 countries. Main Accountabilities1. Develop a Product vision and strategy in collaboration with stakeholders aligned and supportive of Hotelbeds’ overall Business roadmap.2. Define and oversee the Product roadmap and ensure deliverables agreed with the Commercial teams are met. 3. Establish a core trio of Product, Engineering and Commercial, acting as one team: ensure the product needs are translated into requirements and drive consensus within the different areas. 4. Ensure collaboration and lead to clear and efficient Product planning and prioritization within an effective overall SAFe Product development framework.5. Speak with data and conduct relevant product research. Set-up and manage accurate product KPis by establishing competitive intelligence market analyses. Ensure the post-launch performance is up to par and aligned with expected values for revenue and profits.6. Evangelize both internally and externally about the team's contribution to business achievements. Promote the product and advocate for its value and benefits within the company strategy.7. Act as a mentor to direct reports and wider team, coaching them and helping them to drive performance and to set the highest standards in terms of hiring, training, development, and talent retention.Main Challenges1.   Build, direct and lead a senior Project and Programme Management team responsible for managing, initiating, overseeing the successful delivery of the Technology projects and Business Cases in all aspects (definition, objectives, budget, team, planning) ensuring that the technology strategic results are set and achieved in the most efficient way.Main accountabilities: - Build up and daily management of the (senior) project managers team. - Ensure on a daily basis that the full Technology project roadmap objectives are met and all (large scale, complex and/or company critical programs of) technical projects are successfully delivered. - Setup and coordination of Business Cases between Finance, Procurement and Technology owners, managing the approval routes (according to approval matrix). - Manage stakeholder expectations/communications on all company management levels - coordinate escalations, steering boards and needed decision making. - Ensuring and support the optimal use and assignment of technology resources (people, time, budget). - Manage and resolve (escalated) risks, dependencies and changes within and towards other projects, departments, initiatives. - Support and participate in Technology Strategy, Roadmap, Performance definitions and status reviews.Main challenges: - Setup and build a new functioning delivery team. - Define, control, manage, influence, IT strategic project objectives towards internal Technology and external stakeholders (Product, Business, Finance, Suppliers). - Manage top-level stakeholder´s conflicts of interests. - Execute and control IT strategic projects in a period of structural, functional and procedural transformation.
