I work one on one with a student in one of the wards of DC such as Brightwood and Columbia Heights. These kids are children of immigrant parents who often are unable to help them with the work they receive, their English, or offer other resources because of their situation. I have served as a mentor and tutor for two different students and have helped further their educational development to continue their studies and have an easy transition.
