  In the TC 143 we follow and propose the approval ( Portuguese vote ) of all the standards developed by CEN concerned with Track applications as well as the new phase for METRO and LRT standards from the Mandate M/486 Mandate for programing and standardization addressed to the European standardization bodies in the field of Urban Rail.   Coordination of the works for this sub committee including disciplines like architectural design including signage and PMR mobility, structures and civil works ( stations, tunnels, viaducts,etc) , Track , electro mechanic, power supply, lightening, etc, in Life cycle of the Metro system, including Project, construction, operation, maintenance and dismantle. We also work in the Fixed Installations approach in terms of Security, and Energy efficiency. One of the objectives as Chairman of this sub committee was to attract more Metro networks to joint the sub committee. Until now joint the SC since 2011, Montreal Metro ( STM ), Moscow Metro, Madrid Metro, New York City Transit ( MTA ), Instambul Ulasim and Alger Metro. Show less
