Forming the Design and Technical role responsible for ensuring all design elements of the developments are brought together in a cohesive and buildable manner whilst also paying heed to major contractor issues of budget and programme. My duties concerned principally with general design packages. This role involves working on both Design & Build and Traditional contracts, as the main point of contact between all consultants for the main contractor. As part of a team on a variety of projects from large scale High end residential to award winning competition schemes involving early engagement in preconstruction. I have developed a greater understanding of sequencing, procurement and working to ensure compliance from a wide range of schemes as the project is constructed. Show less

I worked both as an individual and as a part of a team designing commercial, domestic and recreational projects. This work was very beneficial to me as it gave me a wonderful insight into the planning process. I had an opportunity to use various computer skills at a practical level, using CAD, Sketch-UP and Photoshop on a daily basis. The job offered a great variety of tasks in the office and on site. The fieldwork included surveying and the laying out of projects. I worked both as an individual and as a part of a team designing commercial, domestic and recreational projects.
