Thank you for the encouragements, mentorship, and support throughout this journey of personal and professional development and growth. Homelessness is a life-and-death crisis in the United States, and one that requires an urgent national response. The only solution to homelessness is ensuring that people have access to housing as a basic human and civil right. To respond to this crisis, the National Coalition for the Homeless has spearheaded the launch of Bring America Home NOW: A Comprehensive Grassroots Campaign to End Homelessness in the U.S. Led by people who have themselves experienced or are experiencing being unhoused. The campaign is focused on the passage of federal legislation aimed at addressing the interconnected issues that have contributed to the decades-long epidemic of homelessness in the United States. Bring America Home Now focuses on 6 major policy areas: Housing, Health Care, Livable Incomes, Education and Training, Civil Rights, and Racial Equity.
