The professional experience I grew up with in the company has allowed me to become Head of Operations, effective 18/11/2019.My current responsibilities therefore include the planning of operations both on an emergency basis (emergency response) and on specific customer requests (budgeted work).I am also involved in analysing the performance of employees and the facilities we interface with; setting and sharing improvement targets; and finding ways, with colleagues, to achieve expected results.I successfully led and managed, on the business side, a project for the development and adoption of a new company application for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Work-force Management (WFM). On 2nd May 2016 I started working at an Integrated Water Service (IWS). I was hired with the title of Assistant to the General Management: I provided support to the Management in high-level decision-making processes, with the task of analysing different alternatives. I managed and controlled the progress of strategic projects to achieve the company's objectives, working in direct contact with first-level management.This experience allowed me to come in contact with the company's processes across the board: from updating the brand image to organising warehouse operations/logistics, from setting up and subsequently developing new company functions to defining the new organisational structure.I was in charge of overseeing the updating of operations according to the latest regulations, interfacing with the relevant authorities.The experience gave me the opportunity to develop skills in focusing on the areas of the different functions involved, as well as being able to understand heterogeneous contexts, from customer management to maintenance management, familiarising myself with operations and processes. From 9th March 2015 to 22th April 2016 I worked in the start-up New Cosmetic Technology as product manager and purchasing manager. NCT was a Milanese company producing and filling cosmetic products for third parties, part of the FIN-OMET group. I was in charge of new product development: quoting to the customer, cost analysis and feasibility of the project, research of new products and continuous improvement of the characteristics of the offer. I had the opportunity to get to know the characteristics of the cosmetic products, I also had the task of identifying and eliminating any problems that might have hindered the production process. In the follow-up phase, I organised and controlled the operations incidental to the start of production: procurement of materials, support for graphic development, definition of product specifications. Through the ERP, I managed purchases, analysing materials (packs and chemicals), contacting suppliers, negotiating purchase conditions and service levels. I managed the definition of procurement plans and the issuing of new orders. The experience allowed me to consolidate the knowledge I had acquired during my studies. From 3rd June 2014 to 6th March 2015 I worked at Agilent Technologies, Valmadrera headquarters. Leader in the production of rotary vane pumps. I carried out the task of "production planner": I was in charge of monthly planning and weekly programming of production. My choices were based both on the historical trend of sales and on the special requests of customers and aimed at reducing lead times as much as possible. I managed reorders to suppliers and subcontractors through various methods of forecasting requirements. The aim was to make deliveries adhere to production requirements with the ultimate goal of lowering inventories and improving stock rotation. During a phase of consolidation of the factories, I was given the task of improving the physical management of the warehouses, so I developed a new indexing system to make the locations of the articles unambiguous and defined.
