Work with React, .NET Core, and Google Cloud Platform to develop a platform that provides actionable insights on a range of companies by continually analysing a large corpus of company financial data. This enables bankers to provide insights to their customers at a rate which was previously impossible. Some notable achievements in this time include:* Pitching and subsequently leading a refactor on part of ANZs web app that enabled a new wave of work to be completed by its deadline.* Completing the Google Cloud Architect exam* Designing and developing the new app navigation, which took it from a footer based approach (Think instagram - appropriate when the app was simple with only ~5 devs working on it) to a side bar approach that allowed for far more options to be displayed and worked at any screen size (Much more like GitLab).* Completed a 3 month SRE rotation that involved learning Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, GitLabs CI/CD pipeline, and Docker among others in order to complete tasks such as provisioning a Redis High Availability stateful set onto our various clusters.* Building a small NodeJs based API testing library that allowed you to hit API endpoints (that required you to be authorised) as different users. This was done using a token exchange mechanism that we built into our custom SSO backend. Show less

Worked primarily as a front-end developer on a number of different projects including a voice based navigation/help system and a platform to provide actionable insights to bankers in regards to the companies they manage.• Made heavy use of jQuery in developing the Voice based app• Instrumental in porting our projects over to React• Developed a front end application architecture that enables small self contained apps to plug and play in a scalable manner using Webpack.• Taught a group of 20 Data Scientists/Developers at ANZ how to write React apps effectively. This involved numerous talks and workshops. Show less
