I worked for the Research Department for about 1 year. During my stay, I investigated whether and how the Italian emigration of the early twentieth century induced a domestic increase in schooling proxied by primary school attendance rates. Many historical evidences stress that this actually happened in Italy at the turn of the XIX century. Activities: econometric and time series analysis.
