As a Programme Attribute Team Leader for Jaguar Land Rover I am responsible for managing multiple vehicle programmes; from design concept to manufacturing stage. I work closely in a team with other Attribute Team Leaders and Test Engineers to ensure all required tests are carried out before each deadline.This role requires a huge amount of organisational skills as I regularly plan testing schedules for various programmes, including CAD testing and physical testing at offsite centres. I also work closely with the test engineers to write and authorise all test reports for my selected programmes. My Problem solving skills have also improved, working as a team to solve vehicle issues and design new concepts, strategies to resolve this. This role has thoroughly enhanced my knowledge of automotive engineering and my experience of project management of luxury products. This role has also honed on my team leadership skills to ensure we work together to achieve the tight deadlines and report frequently on my projects status to senior management. I also use Microsoft programs and Mail daily to communicate with other colleagues.
