As a female writer of Japanese-American and European descent, I publish and contribute autobiographical essays to the museum about my background and experiences through thoughtful essays, commentary, short stories, poetry and investigative articles. Subjects include identity, cultural differences and similarities, food, history and art. My work was included in The Museum's Exhibit called: "Hapa-Japan, Visible and Invisible" which chronicled and celebrated the Hapa and mixed-Japanese experience in America and beyond, which I am currently writing a book about. I also cover other Exhibitions as well, including for: "Dodgers: Brotherhood of the Game" I am also working on a novel about the Japanese-American experience during World War II, specifically about the 442nd Battalion, the most highly decorated infantry in United States history.
