I started at IU East as a member of adjunct English faculty and in 2000, gained a full-time position as academic coordinator in TRIO's Student Support Services program at IU East. In 2002 I moved to full-time lecturer in writing, and in 2007, was promoted to senior lecturer in writing. I helped develop Learning Community and First Year Seminar programs and was a leader on the Commission on the Status of Women at IU East. In 2013 I moved to Salt Lake City and continued as an online and adjunct member of the IU East English department until December 2017.
