I worked with Fran directly on the Fashion Interpretations Symposium, 'Dress , Medium & Meaning' in December 2020. The culmination of a year-long AHRC Networking Project that involved leading academics and creatives from fashion and dress history, Fran co-ordinated the project seamlessly and was a pleasure to work with. A sound source of advice, fun (and technical 'Zoom' support!) Fran is a superb team leader; I throughly enjoyed working with her on this project and hope that we can collaborate again in the future.

AHRC Networking Project Administrator for "Fashion Interpretations: Dress, Medium & Meaning" As Fashion Interpretations’ sole Administrator, I coordinated the project’s day-to-day operations. In addition to the duties listed below, I was the main source of contact for all project members and both the project’s Principal Investigator (Dr Rebecca Arnold) and Co-Investigator (Professor Judith Clark). Fashion Interpretations is an international, interdisciplinary network that focuses on the ways modern and contemporary fashion is continually reinterpreted through varied mediums, to gain insight into the ways representational modes translate and reconfigure the meaning of fashion itself. Through a series of events and a publication, it brings together academics, curators, stylists, editors, illustrators and artists to examine their own practice and reflect on case studies from the past.
