Ms. Foligatti was my professor for The Psychology of Health at New York Institute of Technology. The school is fortunate to have such an incredible educator; she is an invaluable asset to the program. Ms. Foligatti is passionate about the subject matter, which is clearly evident in her efforts to keep an organized page on the Canvas platform along with her ability to be receptive to student questions and concerns. She cares not only about the academic success of her students, but also their physical and mental well-being as people. I thoroughly enjoyed completing assignments for her class because they were not only informative, but also transformative, allowing for self-discovery through an integrated approach to health care.

I originally met Ms. Foligatti about five years ago and, knowing her interest in, and background in, wellness, subsequently hired her to teach The Psychology of Health. She has been an invaluable addition to the program at New York Institute of Technology and has continued to teach there past my tenure. Her course became an important part of our offerings each semester. We had a basic outline for the course, but Ms. Foligatti expanded upon that outline. She is an indefatigable teacher of wellness and I have received much positive feedback from students concerning the course. She has also taught a second course on Marriage and the Family, and there, too, student feedback has been extremely positive. Ms. Foligatti does everything an institution would expect from an instructor who is immersed in her subject. She is diligent and responsive to student problems, which have been many during this period of crisis. Her syllabi have been impeccable. She has been very flexible in teaching under various modalities, including Zoom and Canvas, and has signed up for any training courses offered by the institution. I recommend her highly.
