In the time that I had the pleasure to work with Fran I considered her to be a reliable and trustworthy scientist and colleague. Commensurate with her extensive experience Fran’s keen eye for detail and focus on quality were always evident. Similarly, having worked within a faced paced research environment, Fran had an intuitive understanding of the balance between delivering fit-for-purpose high quality reagents and the need to meet aggressive business timelines. In her capacity as a coordinator of a tissue culture facility Fran demonstrated her communicative nature, her ability to foresee and preempt issues before they arose and her personability when dealing with business partners. In effect Fran managed the output of a small team and in this she was very successful. I would welcome the opportunity to recommend Fran for similar positions and would consider her an asset to almost any team.

Fran has many years experience of cell culture. Fran has also shown to be confident in handling automation for the production of cell culture and screening. She is driven, focussed and task orientated. Fran is a good communicator, and in addition, is a pleasant and friendly person. Fran is a team player, and a sharp student.

Was taking advantage of this time to expand and read and experiment with my organic gardening, which is an ongoing interest. Additionally learnt new skills ,predominantly networking within the community,to support a friend setting up her business, and to increase my self confidence. These include network meetings to interact with people in similar circumstances.
