  Priestly ministry is such a scared gift. I am humbled and grateful that God would grace me with the opportunity to witness His magnificent love for His people from such an intimate proximity. To rejoice in moments of joy and to share in the load of a burden are invitations that I do not take for granted. The people of Emmanuel Episcopal Church have welcomed and embraced me and my family. It is a glorious place to serve and I pray that others might feel called to join us at Emmanuel in Rapid City, the Diocese of South Dakota regionally, the Episcopal Church nationally, and the Anglican Communion globally!

  Being invited into one of the most sacred moments of a person's life is an experience of grace unmatched by anything else I've ever done for a career. Hospice chaplaincy as someone approaches death and bereavement assistance for family members after the death are privileges. I now know that everything I've experienced thus far in life has prepared me for these roles.
