I had the pleasure of working with Tracey during what for most people would have been the most stressful and chaotic weeks of their lives. But Tracey always managed to stay calm, collected and cheerful, even in the most hectic of circumstances. She led our team in handling media relations for over 1,200 journalists during the 2011 Annual Meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative. I was impressed with her ability to step into a situation clouded with ambiguity and still deliver excellent results and provide meaningful direction to her team. She’s not afraid to hand off tasks or allow others to take on new and challenging roles. She’s very easy to get along with and is a positive influence on everyone around her. She’s someone I would pick for my team every time.

I have had the privilege of working for Tracey on more than one occasion. She is a dedicated professional who is not only resourceful, but always delivers, often above and beyond. She is a fair manager and a fearless leader. I highly recommend working with, and for, her without hesitation.

The Alaskan Arctic: A Summit on Shipping and Ports will be held August 23–25, 2015, at the Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage, Alaska. The purpose of the meeting is to build partnerships to develop safe and reliable shipping through the Alaskan Arctic. At the same time, the interests of local and indigenous residents must be an integral part of any development planning. The meeting will focus on the following topics:» Developing safe and reliable shipping practices to protect the hunting and fishing activities of our residents and our environment» Exploring public-private cooperation models to produce the necessary infrastructure investments» Establishing a task force to offer global shippers a regular, safe and reliable shipping systemThis gathering builds on the success of the Arctic Imperative Summits convened in Alaska in 2011 and 2012 and the Arctic Circle Assemblies in Iceland in 2013 and 2014. It will be convened under the umbrella of the Arctic Circle as the first in a series of issues-based forums held around the world.
