Duties: • Software Test Automation (Cypress for Regression Testing) • API Testing (Postman and Rest Assured for API Automation) • Website and Mobile Testing • Reviews and analyzes the Business, Functional, Technical and User Interface (UI) requirements of the project in line with standard operating procedures in order to produce interface and database design accurately • Prepares and reviews test scenarios, test data and test cases in conformity with agreed procedures in order to produce a test plan document • Preparation and reviews of that test cases. Runs test processes against an application in line with already developed test plans and according to test policy and procedures using the most innovative and automated tools to achieve efficient and effective tests. • Report all defects to software development team for resolution within the stipulated timeframe and offer suggestions to improve the quality of the application so as to produce accurately logged reports • Preparation of test reports for stakeholders review and periodic reporting to management on the overall status of the testing activities • To collaborate with the software development team in line with user requirements to ensure that all defects discovered are promptly resolved so that other functions/process are not affected negatively • Logs and tracks defects discovered during test execution during test execution in accordance with the agreed procedures to log in and report observed defects which would be for corrective action • Ensures that the change management processes are followed in executing change requirement of all applications to be tested • Evaluates and proposes innovative technological ideas to carry out testing of applications within acceptable frameworks in order to achieve procedure and process improvements
