  Lead rug designer, and point person for accent, kitchen, and bath rugs. Designing for various retailers such as Costco, Sam’s Club, and Walmart. Worked on top licensed brands such as Martha Stewart, Tommy Bahama, and Ralph Lauren. • Create custom designs for accent, kitchen, bath and outdoor rugs. • Work directly with the sales, sourcing and product development teams to efficiently understand and react to the design-related needs of the clients while maintaining the quality of our brands • Create and maintain all design related files, selecting colors and fibers, and transferring to cross-functional teams as necessary • Provide technical artwork to the product development team for sample and production manufacturing • Work efficiently as a team player within the NY showroom by sharing and learning with other colleagues to improve productivity and knowledge • Prioritize workload in collaboration with the design manager to support sales teams with the purpose of meeting deadlines • Assist with showroom activities on an as-needed basis
