We hired Julie in August of 2016 for the Business Developer role with Impact Loan. Julie actively engaged with clients in our loan portfolio. In her role, Julie supported business start-ups to ensure long-term sustainability of those businesses and to guide entrepreneurs in their journey to (business) success. In part, Julie managed the relationship with Libro Credit Union and the partnership with the Rotary Club of London South. Julie is diligent, consistent and reliable, and I recommend her highly.

Julie is a wonderful colleague and a true change maker. Working alongside her in developing a social enterprise and social finance ecosystem in southwestern Ontario has been a delight. She is a great team player and leader that is helping to shape the future of our community that is driven by valuing people and planet first. I can't way to see how Julie continues to emerge as an expert in this space and beyond.

Julie is truly committed to her goal to be part of the movement of creating a sustainable social economy in which all can thrive. I met Julie as she was graduating from Ivey early in 2015 and immediately witnessed her passion for driving change for communities locally and in the developing world by drawing on business practices. Since then she has shared her amazing talents to this work of creating a more sustainable and balanced world by focusing her career on social enterprise and social finance. Her accomplishments include a research project dedicate to understanding alternatives to payday lending challenges, coaching countless new entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs and creating strong communications to promote our collective work to build capacity of social entrepreneurs and our social finance eco system locally. Julie is most certainly a future leader who will be dreaming up the future and teaming up with others to bring conscious capitalism to the fore front.
