As an Admissions Officer I facilitate the admissions function for Navitas Europe, working within the Admissions & Recruitment Centre and operating closely with all Navitas Business Units and their University Partners as appropriate, as well as the broader Admissions and Compliance teams. My allocated University partner is currently Twente Pathway College and The Hague Pathway College. My position is based within the ARC to carry out the role of processing Navitas Europe applications via a defined series of processes and systems, establishing strong links with BU-based colleagues and Source Country Office (SCO) staff throughout the world. Key elements of the role included ensuring that: • Student applications are responded to in line with defined service level agreements • Applications are assessed accurately and in accordance with the latest admissions requirements • Agents, students and SCOs are updated and kept abreast of developments at all times • Student interviews are carried out, recorded and communicated accurately • Sustainable and productive working relationships are developed with SCOs, BUs and agents • Individual and team targets are achieved I thoroughly asses each students’ applications and attached documents which are either sent directly by them or an agent to see if they meet the criteria for enrolment. Many international students I deal with chose to enroll from a foundation level and upon assessing their transcripts I would find they would be eligible to begin from the first year, I would then correspond with the agent or student about the first year start and with their decided start date I would then issue an offer.

360 B2B sales of online subscriptions and journals. I would contact institutions, libraries, hospitals and consortium's across all continents through email as well as over the phone. Each month the projects would cycle from renewing as well as up-selling OUP Journals, European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and Oxford Medicine Online (OMO) subscriptions. With the 360 sales side of things I would source customers via websites, social media and through agents. Once the leads are found and a customer has accepted an offer I would then process the offer myself, then send a confirmation to the the customer. For every every region of institutions I would create tailor made leaflets and emails pitching the products that are on offer. Another benefit with the leaflet and email combo is it worked for being a source of reference when calling a new or existing contact.

In sales processing the key was to master the various types of programs used to full fill orders as well as managing accounts. With OUP there are hundreds of products which are sold and renewed, each product has a different programme to manage the orders. My role enabled me to learn each of the programmes within a short period of time and full fill any requests made by the sales team.

I am able to build on my customer service and sales abilities to tailor package deals best suited to a customers needs and requirements. During my time at EE, I was oneof the top ranked employees in terms of performance during my time there; I would be able to persuade customers to take deals as they purchase in bulk, but also receive positive feedback from customers who comment on my customer service skills and mannerisms. rawing from my previous experiences.
