Janine is fantastic! Janine's tasks at Contractbook included writing content for our digital contract management platform. In particular, Janine wrote numerous legal wikis for our Contract Guide, on different contractual terms and concepts. These were written for SEO purposes, in plain English, and for a non-legal audience. Janine was able to successfully explain some complex concepts in an easily understood, concise and well-crafted manner. Janine also wrote a number of articles for our Legal Tech Weekly which provides thought leadership in Legal Tech. These sometimes involved interviewing lawyers to obtain the views of professionals working in the field. She successfully developed ideas and wrote compelling content on topical subjects such as why lawyers need not be fearful of working in the cloud, whether lawyers need to learn to code and whether the reign of the billable hour is over and the alternative pricing models many legal practitioners are now adopting. Janine was excellent at getting to the heart of an abundant amount of information and data to create coherent, informative, and compelling stories targeted towards legal practitioners. Janine showed great initiative and quickly developed a good understanding of our content marketing strategy. Janine is a friendly and collaborative team member. It was a great pleasure to have her with us and we wish her all the best for her future career path!

I worked closely with Janine at the Crown Solicitor’s Office in Sydney, Australia, between 2005 and 2012 -– where we both worked as solicitors. I was a colleague and for a period, her supervisor. During this time, I found Janine’s writing, research and communication skills to be a great asset to her work in the team. Her work always had a unique sense of balance and stylistic flare - definitely influenced by her New Zealand culture, which was welcomed by her team members. Janine has a keen eye for detail, quickly able to get to the heart of a matter and succinctly convey complex issues in plain English, so they can be easily understood by her audience. Janine is passionate and shows strong commitment to whatever she puts her mind to, showing a high level of professional integrity in all she does.
